HYDROFLARE Evaporates Flowback and Produced Water
The HYDROFLARE system is a patented flare gas emission reduction system from Hydrozonix. It uses produced water as a scrubbing media to wash emissions as a traditional wet scrubber while evaporating produced water. Salts are collected and washed to the bottom of the HYDROFLARE and continuously removed to prevent salts from accumulating in the system.
It is designed for locations where gas-gathering systems do not exist and where produced water costs are high. The system burns flare gas that would normally be flared to evaporate flowback and produce water, so it does not have to be hauled away for disposal. Solids left behind by the evaporated water are collected and conveyed to easily moved receptacles. HYDROFLARE can help operators meet flaring reduction goals while simplifying produced water management at remote well sites.
The addition of ozone to the HYDROFLARE will allow over 90% reduction in Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) gaining even further emission reductions.
